Product Description

      Large diameter HDPE spiral pipe systems with various stiffness classes which are designed for non-pressure applications. It is made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) . The diameter of HDPE  spiral pipe is from DN/ID300mm to DN/ID 4000mm. The ring stiffness is SN2, SN4, SN8, SN16 or according to customer requirements.

· Chemical and Corrosion Resistance

HDPE spiral profile pipes and fittings are made of the same material and jointed to one homogenous piece. Not even connections between the pieces pose a weak spot in the pipe system as they are joined by a rubber ring or electro-fusion water tight joint.

· Effective Roughness

Due to its low roughness as shown in the above graph there is almost no accumulation on the HDPE spiral pipe bottom and HDPE spiral profiled pipe have the ability to self purify. Low roughness has an important economic advantage as maintenance expenditure is kept to a minimum. Due to the low roughness the hydraulic properties are improved and smaller diameters are required compared to conventional HDPE spiral pipes materials with the same flow rate. HDPE spiral profiled pipe convey flows up to 17% greater than concrete pipes, and up to 60% better than corrugated steel pipes.


· Abrasion Resistant

  High density polyethylene spiral pipes are among the most abrasion resistant pipes. This has been tested in the Darmstadt procedure and the results are shown in the diagram above and support the quality of polyethylene and polypropylene pipes.


· Resistant to Micro Organisms

 Polyethylene is not nutrient media for bacteria, fungi and spores, so that the material is resistant to all forms of microbial attack as well as both sulphurous acid and sulphates.
