For hundreds of years, humans have been busy transporting water or any other liquid from one point to another, but ensuring that the transportation system is free of faults and leaks is not an easy challenge. The emergence of Krah Pipes with good performance solves this problem, but few people know what Krah Pipes is, how it is installed, and what is the connection method of Krah Pipes?

What is Krah Pipes?

Krah Pipes is a commonly used infrastructure product. The spiral tube is like an extruded profile strip that is spirally wound around the mandrel. It is made using a specially designed profile extrusion process. The lids at the edges are evenly entangled together in a thermoplastic state to form a smooth inner surface. The spiral pipe system is available in a variety of fittings and manholes. It can also be manufactured by a specially designed profile extrusion process and is manufactured by BAUKU extrusion welding. The list of reference items using this spiral is as follows: 1. North and South Expressway culvert pipe (1.2 m and 1.5 m diameter) 2. Install ARMCO pipe at Jalan Tun Razak Kuala Lumpur (3m diameter) 3. KLIA runway drainage (diameter 759mm).

Krah's production technology is a spiral extrusion (spiral winding) process that produces shaped tubes for gravity applications, solid wall tubes and a variety of special wall structures to produce fittings, manholes and fittings.

What is the application of Krah Pipes?

Krah Pipes is best suited for use as sewage pipelines, drainage pipelines, irrigation pipelines, industrial applications, mud pipelines, exhaust gas pipelines and ventilation, old pipeline pipelines, slotted drainage applications, buoys, high-rise construction waste tanks, on-site retention systems (OSD), Pipe jacket (to protect the cooling steel pipe, its annular space is filled with foam for insulation) and pipe sleeves (for repairing or erecting new pier pillars and for offshore pile protection and repair)

HDPE Spiral Profile Pipe tubing represents the latest advances in materials and manufacturing technology. The combination of raw material properties and product technology provides lightweight engineered piping for a variety of non-pressure applications in municipal, industrial, road construction, repair and marine pipeline applications.

What are the advantages of Krah Pipes?

1,Lightweight

2. Impact resistance

3. Corrosion and chemical resistance

4. Leakproof

5. Long service life

6. Environmental protection

7. Structural design

Buku Pipe has flexible piping, such as Hebeish's spiral tube, which by definition is a pipe that deflects when subjected to external loads (traffic, groundwater changes, frost, soil sedimentation, etc.) - instead of rigid pipes, it carries all The external load passes through itself. The degree of deflection of the flexible pipe depends on the stiffness of the pipe, the support of the surrounding soil and the external load.

Krah Pipes connection method

Meets Egyptian design and installation guidelines for drinking water and sewer lines.

Butt welding of both ends of the HDPE Spiral Profile Pipe is performed by hydraulic heating using a welding machine.

Krah Pipes installation

The stiffness of the Buku Pipe is chosen according to the type of soil, the cushion and backfill material, the depth of installation and the external live loads on the pipeline and groundwater (groundwater, traffic, etc.). Where applicable, please refer to the National Safety Code.

Pipe bed. The soil should be laid without stones in the width of the HDPE Spiral Profile Pipe. At the bottom of the trench, a 10-15 cm thick mat was prepared and fully compacted. Bedding should be at least 20 cm wider than the outside diameter of the pipe. For installation in soft soil/wet soil, the geotextile is placed underneath the bedding.

Primary supply. The main backfill material should be friction soil or gravel. Backfill should be done over the entire width of the trench. The compaction of the backfill material should be a 15-30 cm layer. The last layer or main backfill should extend 30 cm above the crown. Note: 30 cm above the HDPE Spiral Profile Pipe, until the pipe is not compacted directly above.

The last remnant. The final backfilling is done based on the original soil and external loads (traffic). Compaction is carried out in several layers when deemed necessary. The final backfill material is compatible as a digging material. However, the material must be free of stones.

Installation depth. The recommended Buku Pipe installation depth is 0.6m - 6m, depending on the external load (groundwater, traffic, etc.). For pipes above 1200mm, detailed static calculations are usually required to determine

Conclusion

The Krah pipeline is recognized for its wide range of applications and sustainable and flexible piping systems, but don't forget to choose a standard pipeline supplier. If you need a solid, high-quality krah pipe that is rigorously tested, Eagle Machinery can provide you with the best products.
